At the heart of Spont is a diverse gallery of over 150 engaging avatars that users can choose from. As users invest more active hours into the app, they can unlock a wide range of new avatars. They also have the ability to interact with nearby users and share photos of enticing hangout spots, such as bars or clubs.

If another user wants to join a posted destination, they can simply click "Join" under the posted picture and time of arrival. However, users will not know what others look like, only their selected avatars. After choosing to join, either individually or in groups at a location, a locator is activated on the phone through the app when users are 50ft or less from each other. They will see a beacon, but it will only act as an indicator and not a locator, meaning it won't indicate the other user's specific location.

Other users that requested to join will have a locator that tells them who showed up at that location.

Blogging Site
To get started, users can join the app for free and browse local social clubs directly within the app, with search results powered by Google. If they come across a venue they're interested in, they can create a new post within the app. Simply by copying and pasting the link into their post, the image from Google is displayed,
accompanied by an automatic link for directions. Adding a short message at the top of their post will make it visible to all nearby users or they can choose to make it private, only for friends.
